Hello friends. Would you please try to comment. If you can't, email me and let me know what happened. I am at papermuse101@gmail.com. I would really appreciate knowing what is happening and why I am not receiving your comments so your participation in this test would be invaluable. Then I can contact the young man who helped with this site and let him know what is going on.

Later, I have covered the whole thing with a mixture of white glue, joint compound, water and sand, a variation of mixtures on Jonni's ultimatepapermache.com site. I painted it with some acrylics. Still not sure how I'm going to finish it. The mixture has made it very hard which helps strengthen the hands and unifies the whole thing with texture.

This is the first blog on my new web page. Feel free to share your experiences with your muse, the creative, mythic impulse to create a meaningful dialogue with yourself and the universe.

Lately I have been working on a relief sculpture of a water dragon, and one of three people that I am calling ,for now, the welcoming woman.

The central figure's arms reach all the way out  so her hands extend beyond the canvas. I knew this would cause trouble, having the hands extend beyond the canvas, but I couldn't resist the impulse.  I had to sacrifice some finesse with the hands and they look a little clunky because I had to strengthen them so they wouldn't get knocked off. It was a compromise. I wouldn't ordinarily recommend doing this but what are you gonna do? Sometimes you just have to do something though you're not sure why.

I don't know what they signify, yet  I have faith. Their meaning will become clear as time goes on.

I have since this stage added a mixture of Elmers glue, joint compound and sand. I'll show it as soon as I am done with that stage.
